In the Wake of intense competition with Moog Music, in the late 70s of the XX century, ARP Instruments launched the model, which quickly gained many fans around the world. A two-voice model from the 70s, had two VCO oscillators on Board and owned a penetrating, bright sound with a rich timbral expansion, thanks to a flexible selection of modulation sources. These include, synchronization of generators and variable pulse width, generator s&H, as well as a non-resonant RF filter and 2 different envelope generators, with their help, the synthesizer made incredible sounds, that then managed repeat the Korg Arp Odyssey model.
